The second release from Aloha Got Soul is here. After months of waiting for the test pressings to arrive (thanks to Record Store Day for the springtime delays at the pressing plant!), the second 7-inch from Mike Lundy is on schedule for worldwide release on June 22, 2015. First and foremost, thank you all who attended the release parties in sunny Honolulu and chilly Chicago and London. We had a great time making this record available in-person to those who attended the events. It's nearly here, friends: the first release on the new Aloha Got Soul record label. I want to take some time to update you what's been going on since making the official announcement last November. Firstly, here's what the inaugural release sounds like: "The Rhythm Of Life" and "Tropic Lightning" were originally released in 1980 on Mike Lundy's LP, The Rhythm Of Life, now known throughout the world's record collecting community as a Hawaiian holy grail.
