Aloha Got Soul joins Rush Hour Distribution

Releases Updates

Starting today, Aloha Got Soul is now available worldwide via Rush Hour Distribution, the highly lauded and much loved music company based in the Netherlands.

All AGS releases—including back catalog titles, upcoming releases and represses—are now available to order on Rush Hour's website

We couldn't be more excited about this announcement. Operating a label in Hawaii has had its limitations, including high shipping costs and geographical inaccessibility. Joining the Rush Hour Distribution roster means we'll be reaching a wider audience than ever before thanks to RHD's reputation and its network, built over the last twenty-plus years.

About Rush Hour Distribution:

From its earliest beginnings Rush Hour has cultivated itself into a haven for music lovers worldwide. The reputation Rush Hour has built mainly comes from the fact that we, first and foremost, focus on music we totally believe in and have a love for. The Rush Hour family has a strong sense of pride in always working with and feeding off that impulse and faith. Rush Hour has always been this way.

The company formed in late 1997 with the opening of our record store and mailorder service. Initially importing obscure house and techno records from around the world, then later exporting similar minded Dutch releases to overseas companies.

The distribution wing had evolved by two years later, in 1999.

Rush Hour Distribution has been running nearly as long as the record store (20 yrs +) . It was initially set-up to push the Rush Hour label releases to like-minded independent retailers around the globe. 20+ years later and it's still going strong, servicing stores big and small with an ever expanding inventory of choice records, CDs, tapes, magazines and books.

RHD carries House, Techno, Disco, Soul, Electro, Jazz, revived African, Brazilian, Thai, Greek & Turkish music next to modern Experimental, Ambient, Psych Rock, Hip Hop, Folk, Reggae, New Wave and a lot in between. Some of the many labels offered include:

Rush Hour, Music From Memory, L.I.E.S., Melody As Truth, Stroom, Knekelhuis, Edições CN, All City/ Allchival, Morphine, 5 Gate Temple, New Dawn, Porridge Bullet, Wah Wah Wino, APE (NWAQ) AD93, XL Recordings, Safe Trip, Left Ear, Blundar, Nation Chicago, Afrosynth, Antinote, Mannequin, Art Yard, Spacegrapes, Future Vision (Ron Trent), Invisible City Editions, Early Sounds, Granit, Mannequin, Guruguru Brain, Offen Music, Tempo Dischi, South Of North, Artificial Dance & Isle Of Jura Records to name a few..
