Aloha friends and fans! We'll be at the Made in Hawaii Festival this weekend from Friday through Sunday. Come find us at booth 505, located at the Ala Moana Center.  We're super excited to participate in our first ever Made in Hawaii Festival! Sometime in early 2021, Kyoto-based musician and producer HALFBY reached out with a new track he'd been working on, entitled "Beach Baby Be Mine". To our surprise, the vocalist was Richard Natto and the song a new, original composition with music by Halfby and lyrics by Natto. We listened over and over to that demo version and fell. in. love. AGS label boss Roger Bong recently flew across the Pacific and The Pond to bring the sunny sounds of Hawaii to the UK. He recorded his monthly NTS show, Home Grown, live from the NTS London studios, and later in the month popped into Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Basement for a special one-off broadcast on Worldwide FM (much love to the station — they're pausing their regular programming at the end of this month for a restructure).   Roger will also be joining Be With Records's Rob Butler in Manchester for a Sunday evening all-vinyl b2b session at NAM. This Sunday: hang at the shop, drink free Kona Brewing, and vibe to vinyl records played by friends and collectors. We're hosting these casual hangs at the shop every 3rd Sunday of the month.  Join us for the first one on Sunday, October 16th from 5pm ~ 8pm.  It's our way of saying "thank you" for being a part of our record collecting, music loving community. A few of our good friends will be spinning their favorite records for the earlier part of the evening and then for the rest of the night, the decks will be open from 7-8pm for anyone to play some tunes....
