Hal Bradbury “You Win, I Lose”

“You Win, I Lose” by Hal Bradbury

Hal Bradbury’s This Is Love, what I consider to be one of the Holy Grails of Hawaiian LPs, fell into my hands via a very generous person (thank you S.M.).

DJ Muro selected one of the best songs on the album, “You Win, I Lose”, for his Hawaiian Breaks mix. Hal Bradbury’s haunting vocal intro immediately sends a vibe of love and sadness to the soul.

Great news Roger about finally getting hold of the Hal Bradbury album. I’ve been kept busy with family stuff recently so not had as much time for music alas!

I saw Hal Bradbury during my 1979 & 1980 Hawaiian vacations when he was a member of Fabulous Krush/The Krush at the Garden Bar, Hilton Hawaiian Village. I had 5 Fabulous Krush/The Krush albums. I like Hal’s songs – Call Me, Babe I Want You, This Is Love, You Send Me, You Win-I Lose.
